- 500g all-purpose flour
- 250g butter, at room temperature
- 150g white sugar
- 7g active dry yeast
- 1 large egg
- 120ml warm water
- Pinch of salt
For the Syrup Filling
- 400g dark brown sugar
- 250g butter
- 150ml dark corn syrup
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
